but the Chinese footnote on your post is not properly worded. Better to be like this:

I hope you can read simplified Chinese. Please do not use “夷”to refer to yourself. This character means “barbarian” in the ancient times and is no longer used nowadays. Even in the past, it was never used to refer to oneself.
