in the matter of donation. At least the sociaty respect the donators, instead of considering them as a idiots. That's why the company can gain reputation by donating.
The Gini factor of China in 2004 is 0.447, higher than US 0.408. That means China's income inequality is even higher than US -- more percent of the fortune are in the hand of the rich. But, the rich people in China still doesn't donate as much (in comparable amount, not in the absolute amount) -- I think this was one of the point Ms. LuoSuo wanted to make.
It is not a bad thing even if the people donate only for the purpose of going to heaven after life. At least there is this motivation for him to be good, not bad.
