Your speculations have no bases.
The war against Saddam is justified. Over 30 countries supported this justification.
USA is not a bellicose country as many Chinese believe. The risk for a democratic country like the US to get into nonsense wars is still minimal compared to those non-democratic countries. There is no way that US would simply go to wars on the preference of the President. You have to admit US government has been behaving more responsibly than any dictatorship in this world. When they were the only country owning the Nuclear Bombs, when they were the only superpower after the cold war, they did not even try to dominate world politics as they were capable of.
Just imagine what the world would be like if China is as rich and powerful as the US is now! Would China listen to anyone? Would you feel safer? I would not, even as a chinese!
Peace is precious for mankind. But when peace stands for surrender, fear and loss of dignity and freedom, it is no longer peace. It is suicide!
