The paragraph you quoted in your original post obviously doesn't mean what you thought it meant. You don't have to know a lot about Bible to understand that it is not a method of punishing the criminals but it is a self-regulation rule.
From my little knowledge of Bible, I do know that the stealing of Jesus's body was how the soldiers who were guarding Jesus's tomb reported to their leaders. You consider what the soldiers said was true, but the christians believe in the Bible, and they think the soldiers were lying. It would be more convincing to those who believe in God, if you can provide some more evidence obtained from serious history study.
You don't have to twist things just to dispute QiMing. I believe you are offending many people in this forum, the same as you feel QiMing is offending you.
