I am sorry to interrupt, and I must say I hate to write this letter, but I could not help.
亲爱的吉姆：

You might be surprised as to how I found out your full name and address. Well, it's not so surprising at all. I have long been aware of your address. Needless to say, the rest is pretty easy.
你大概会奇怪我怎么知道你的全名和地址。这其实不奇怪。我早就知道你的地址了，在此之后要查明尊姓大名毫不费力。
You might also be surprised by the extraordinary size of this letter. Actually, it contains about 50 letters. As all of them are written in Chinese, I had to translate them into English, since I do not suppose you can read Chinese.
你大概还会奇怪此信何以如此之长。它其实包括50多封信。因为它们全是用中文写的，我只得把它们翻译为英文，因为我并不以为你能看懂英文。
However, as they say in this country: "Ignorance is bliss". In view of the contents of the letters, it would have been better not to understand them at all.
不过，正如人家说的：“无知是福。”鉴于信件的内容，还是看不懂更好。
