Is that all you can come-up with? Beautiful? That is not even in the first 10 purposes of a language. You are looking on the wrong side of things.

After all, beauty is something totally subjective and personal. It is a feeling inside depending on personal experience or perception. It is not an objective thing that is dependable and measurable. It is totally up to the person who sees it.

And it is interesting to say that almost all beautiful things are expensive as well. We have paid too much for the beauty of Chinese for too long, thousand years, so that I do not feel the beauty anymore!

You are thinking in a typical Chinese way!
