Domination is derived has got nothing to do with "domain" from "dominate". I do not think it has anything to do with domain. Neither does it mean "to rule" in modern English.

“统治”对应词should be "to rule" or "to reign".

What is "The Wealth of the Land". Never seen it. You mean "the national wealth"?
