多年以前, 国内朋友问我同样问题, "it's me or it's i"? I knew it should be "it's i" due to the grammar i learned. but i thought it didn't hurt to ask an american people since i was here. my office mate was a beautiful american girl who had a phd from MIT. to my surprise, she said she needed to think about it instead of answering me right away. the next day, she told me it should be "it's me" after she discussed with her husband who was also a phd from a celebrated american university.
when the same question went to an guy from another department, he told me most of american would give the wrong answer, but he wouldn't because he ever learned Latin grammar. it should be "it's I".
