Why don't your read the CNN news I just provided a link to? Or for that matter, read the Constitution itself as 消极 suggested.

What is true is that the Senate rarely rejects president's nominations. As far as I remember, John Tower was the last one to be rejected as the Secretary of Defense during the Reagan administration.
