And this came from a judge who is a conservative Christian. Here are the transcript of the testimony on Oct. 19, 2005. They deal with the substance of Behe's argument on irreducible complexity:

The most ID is saying, if it says anything, is that there appear to be gaps in the current theory of biology, but this is true with every branch of science. Science consists of little island of knowledge among the vast sea of unknown. So ID really says nothing.
