i had quite an experience with that ”那一个”joke during the memorial holiday in DC last year at a Moroccan restaurant.
one of my friends was telling us the joke about “那一个”in Chinese like you just did, out of which the pronunciation of “那一个”was unfortunately picked up by a table next to us which was seated by a couple of black ladies...
gee, what a reaction was that... it took my friend's husband, who is an Egyptian, at least half an hour to "explain" the whole situation and appease the furious blacks...
