By the way, when ZhaoKuangYing usurped the throne, China was by no means united. There was N. Han in the north and S. Tang in the south, not to mention the powerful Liao dynasty. So how did the old Chen knew Zhao had obtained the mandate of heaven and fell of his donkey in ecstasy?

Me thinks this stupid legend was all made up by the Song imperial court and I hope you are not using this as proof for Zhao’s mandate from heaven. Hehe.
