Why do CNN and so many Americans side with Japan and oppose China now? Just because the latter is ruled by so-called Communists?
We all know the Chinese Communists have changed everything but the name since late 1970s after Mao died. In my opinion, this government under the CPC is much closer to the US and the West than Jiang's government before 1949, which was supported by the US.
When US air planes raided Japan after the Pearl Harbour surprise attack, they used Chinese soil to land their bombers. When American air crew were shot down and pursued by the Japanese soldiers, they were sheltered by Chinese peasants.
Now, when the Chinese people are angered by Japanese denial of their war crimes, our WWII allies, including Americans (whom most Chinese still regard as their best friends) are standing with our common WWII enenmy!
What's wrong with the world today?
What's wrong with America today?
Hey, Americans, don't you forget that in Pearl Harbour, more people were killed by the Japanese than in the Twin Towers on September 11th, 2001!
