首先把原文再次引用在下面，因为大家都很熟悉中文，我这里只保留英文：
All flying insects that go on all fours are an abomination to you. 现在关键的分歧在这一句“Yet these you may eat of all flying insects that go on all fours, which have legs above their feet with which to leap on the earth; These of them you may eat”
羊倌儿说这个“have legs above their feet with which to leap on the earth”的意思是，除了四条腿之外，还有两条大腿，这两条大腿上帝在说'go on all fours”的时候是不计算在内的。
这下，6条腿可不就齐了？
这是把大家都当一羽和waiter这样的基督徒糊弄。冷眼一看，立马就有问题了，上帝说的是legs above feet，如果按羊倌儿的理解，leg显然是大腿，而feet是小腿，那么很奇怪的事情出现了，我们都知道，昆虫用来跳跃的大腿是长在全身的最后面的，上帝怎么忽然说出"Above"来了呢？唯一的解释，上帝看蝗虫还得把蝗虫头下脚上的举起来倒着看，所以大腿翻到上面去了。
要么就是上帝的上下标准和我们不一样，正好反过来。
上帝真的这么变态吗？非也，实际上，leg和feet这两个不同的单词就泄露的天机。上帝确实以为蝗虫是四条腿。
我们都知道，昆虫的腿是分节的，而按照西方的习惯，leg指“腿”，就是从踝关节到膝盖乃至以上的部分，而feet指“脚”，就是踝关节以下的部分。
这样一来，上帝的话就既不变态，也流利多了，上帝一直以为蝗虫是四条腿，他以为蝗虫只有两个小腿，两个大腿，"leg above feet"的意思，是说“脚上面还有腿”，也就是指两条大腿。在上帝看来，那两条小腿，是"feet without leg"。
所以上帝的意思其实很清楚，他一直误以为天下的昆虫都是四条腿，于是他说“那些四条腿的昆虫是不能吃的，但是如果四条腿中，有两条不但有feet，而且有leg，（脚上面还有腿）可以用这两条腿来heap的，那就可以吃”。
上帝的意思很清楚，如果只有小脚的，不能吃，如果有足以跳跃的大腿的，那就可以吃。如果大家确实吃过蝗虫的话，这和我们的生活经历是吻合的。蝗虫的两条大腿肌肉是最精华的可吃的部分。所谓上帝的教育，其实不过是当时生活经验的总结而已。
诸位可以去问任何一个英文的native Speaker，是我的阅读还是羊倌儿的阅读make sense。实际上，我亲自听过教堂的牧师拿这个事情和我开玩笑，他和我的阅读是一样的！
上帝并不是辞不达意的语言障碍者，是他的信徒把他变成了这个摸样！
随便贴一下webster字典对于leg和feet的定义，作为我论点的一个证据。
