I have just read your poster downstairs which reads:

I fully understand your sadness and I do feel the same. I am sorry that it's the typical Chinese way of thinking, which I feel both ashamed and revolted. In this regard, I strongly suggest that you go to the low life corner (saishang) and have a look at NOEQ's masterpiece. According to his revelation, we, a bunch of commie spies backed by inexhaustible money from the commie government, have been making every effort to sabotage a neutral forum which is of course XHC, the only light house in the overwhelming darkness!

Sorry for drifting away. Dr Hong, I truly believe every word of yours and I would like to express my personal gratitude for your support for this forum. Although I am not the boss of hjclub.com, and therefore cannot say anything on behalf of the club, I will certainly convey your message to the other guys and let them decide what to do.

Whatever they may decide, may I assure you that we sincerely appreciate your good intention and will NOT interpret your intention in an evil way. Although as I have already pointed out, it is not true that this club wanted to be advertized by that radio station as you wrongly guessed, I do not think that the club members would be so rigid as to let go an opportunity of letting more people get to know our presence. Of course, consideration of safety is always everyone’s priority. So in case, just in case, they decided not to take your offer, it would be that nobody wants to take the risk of being retaliated by the CCP.

Taking this opportunity, may I express my personal feelings for you once again: I always regard you as a highly respectable friend who has devoted his whole life to a cause he sincerely believes in, even though he does not know what is best for his country and his people due to his limited horizons.

Incidentally, what has happened to your Prof Liu Jinxing? Is he coming or not? If you are afraid he might be attacked, which I am quite sure will happen because of the low quality of loads of Chinese people, you can at least post up his pieces here so that everyone would have the precious opportunity to see a real intellectual giant in their lives. How about that?

I know someone will giggle again: “See: he used ‘their’ to refer to ‘everyone’! It should be ‘his or her’!”
