it was 13 years ago in the summer solstice i was in Tijuana, a border city of Mexico conjugate to San Diego. i am planing to be there again soon if it all worked out. I still vividly remember the two parallel avenues, Constitution and Revolution, running from the west to the east and merging at the very end where there was a circle of thriving business. THe native young girls standing in a line in front of the pink-colored houses, saying "10$ a suck". I did not dare even to stop there to look at them.
You could get anything over there, even drugs. that was dangerous!
Don't remember the historical sites but remember that there was a casino where it was good to have a pee. There were donkeys on the street that you could ride on disguising as a Mexican for pictures. I got a few but they were not digital and don't know where they are now.
i am a bit screwed recently because of the moon watching that has made my bioclock upside down. The moon rising is getting later and later and don't know if i will be able to see it tonight.
