德日进(P.Teilhard de chardin)
(1891——1955)
http://www.shuidonggou.com/555/html/?18.html

Pierre Teilhard de Chardinhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pierre_Teilhard_de_Chardin
Fr. Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, S.J. (IPA: [pjɛʀ tejaʀ də ʃaʀdɛ̃]; May 1, 1881 – April 10, 1955) was a French Jesuit priest trained as a paleontologist and a philosopher, and was present at the discovery of Peking Man. Teilhard conceived such ideas as the Omega Point and the Noosphere.
Teilhard's primary book, The Phenomenon of Man, set forth a sweeping account of the unfolding of the cosmos. He abandoned a literal interpretation of creation in the Book of Genesis in favor of a metaphorical interpretation. This displeased certain officials in the Catholic Curia, who thought that it undermined the doctrine of original sin developed by Saint Augustine. Teilhard's position was opposed by his church superiors, and his work was denied publication during his lifetime by the Roman Holy Office.
From Forum about spacetime, gravity ...http://forum.ttbrown.com/viewtopic.php?t=94
Quote:
Einstein said that gravity produces a curvature of space, he also said that space and time are inseparable cross-threads in the fabric of the universe he called “spacetime.”
Actually, the culprit in this monumental "tree branch" separation from neutonian physics was Einstein's teacher Minkowski (1864-1909).
In 1908 he (Minkowski) introduced a new mathematical quantity "w" to measure time. Shocked This quantity is defined as w=(-1)to the half power times t. Confused
Therefore delta w=(-1)to the half power times delta t. Confused Confused His conclusion: that the (the interval of proper distance)squared= (delta x) squared +(delta y) squared+ (delta z) squared +(delta w) squared. Rolling Eyes Minkowski then wrote his famous words; "Henceforth space by itself, and time by itself, are doomed to fade away into mere shadows, and only a kind of unionof the two will preserve an independant reality".
(from: SPACETIME PHYSICS Taylor/Wheeler p.37)
When I looked at this new math definition for time I saw immediately that there was something missing. Idea I pursued my intuition and I fell headlong into a rabbit hole of logical controversy which has taken over 10 years of my research efforts. Can anyone else see how this new definition of time can be re-interpreted in math? Wink

Raymond,
A response on Minkowskis words "Hence forth space by itself, and time by itself are doomed to fade away into mere shadows and only A KIND OF UNION of the two will preserve an independent reality."
My strong point is not math. But I certainly recognize the concept. Correct me if I have misread.
Are you at all familiar with the work of Teilhard De Chardin? I think you probably are .... but for others out there where the name is a mystery, De Chardin was a Roman Catholic Priest (1888- April 1955) Though shackled severely by the church he was considered a mystic, visionary and prophet..... He believed that the human race was still evolving, his vision was that humanity as a "union of free persons" was "BEING PROPELLED" toward what he called the "God- ahead" The SINGLEPOINT of convergence ... where mankind would learn its consummate meaning.
Of course his views did not exactly match those of the church and he found himself working as a missionary in China. He still wrote technical scientific papers, which the church oddly allowed him to publish but his main manuscript "The Phenomenon of Man" was entrusted to a group of his friends and they made sure it was published after his death.
The reason I mention him is that I see glimmers of his thoughts being reflected in some of the "threads" that are appearing here. And I wonder if Townsend Brown was aware of Teilhards philosophy at all.
Teilhard warned however that this new society could never be valid unless it was underpinned by love. "The world cannot endure, advance or realize itself without the action of a power that is a species of love."
Somebody tell me what he meant by "Power that is a species of Love" because I think thats what we have been talking about here ... this unseen energy that Townsend Brown knew somehow existed. This Intelligent ether? Am I on the right track? Maybe? Comments? Victoria
