I had the oil changed of my car twice in 1 week.
One week ago, I sent my car to the Honda dealer garage to change the engine oil, not because my car has driven 3000 miles but because it has been one year since the last oil change and i was afraid that the oil might be degraded.
OK, 5 day's later, I found a patch of oil on the floor inside of my garage. I spotted it 2 days ago and thought it might be the rain getting into my garage. I have never a drop of oil in my garage before and this made me very unhappy.
I took the car to the Honda garage. They carelessly and nervously checked it and said to me it was due to a defect filter. OK, they changed oil and filter for me again and said it would be OK this time.
So, I believed them and took the car home. To make sure there was no leaking of oil, I put a piece of clean wood under the car. in the next morning, I still saw several drops of oil on the wood. I was mad.
So I was in the Honda again. Without a question, they took my car for the inspection immediately. It was turned out that it was not leaking. They did not change the filter properly and allowed the oil from the filter spilled onto the fins under the car. The oil retained there and it was too hard to clean it.
Well, that was what they said to me: driving fast on the highway and let the wind blow the oil out. Do you believe it?
The garage guys are almost all Latinos. Before I went to sleep, I was thinking this rather unexpected episode. Then I understood:
In the old days the car was fixed by Germen who knew the mechanics. Nowadays, the car was fixed by Latinos who even don't know the instruction.
