"猶太聖經"所謂十項命令是猶太神對猶太人命令,和其他人無關.
十 命令
The Ten Commandments
1) 我是神主子你們的神, 是我把你們從埃及之地, 從奴役中帶領出來. 對於你們除了我之外, 一定不能有任何其他的神.
2) 你們不能為自己造一個影像, 任何類型類似于任何在天上的, 在地底的和在水底的. 你們不能崇拜或侍奉它們, 因為我, 神主子, 你們的神, 是一個妒忌的神, 回應那些違律的父親, 追究孩子至第三代和那些拒絕我的人至第四代. 但對那些選擇我的和尊守我的律令的人, 將展示忠誠于承諾至數千(代?).
3) 你們一定不可以把神主子你們的神之名用于無價值的意圖, 神主子將不會赦免任何濫用神之名的人.
4) 依神主子你們的神之命令, 小心定出安息日. 你們要工作和在六日中做你們要做的全部事務, 但第七日是神主子你們的神的安息日. 在这一日, 你們一定不可以做任何工作, 你們, 你們的儿子, 你們的女儿, 你們的男仆, 你們的女婢, 你們的牛, 你們的驴, 你們的任何牲畜, 或外來與你們同住的人, 可使你們的男仆和女婢, 和你們一样, 都可休息. 记住你們在埃及地被人奴役過, 和神主子用神能和力量把你們從那裡帶出; 因此, 神主子你們的神命令你們要尊從休息日.
5) 依照神主子你們的神告知你們的去做, 尊重你們的父親和你們的母親, 使你們在我將給你們的土地上的日子可以长久和順利.
6) 你們一定不可以謀杀.
7) 你們一定不可以做通姦事.
 你們一定不可以偷.
9) 你們一定不可以相應你的同僚提供假证.
10) 你們一定不可以對其他男人的妻子有慾望, 不可渴求他的屋, 他的牧場, 他的男仆和女婢, 他的公牛, 他的驴, 或他的其他任何擁有物.

5:6 “I am the LORD your God, he who brought you from the land of Egypt, from the place of slavery.
5:7 對於你們除我之外一定不以有任何其他的神.
5:7 There must not be any other gods for you besides me.

5:8 You must not make for yourself an image, any kind of a likeness of anything in heaven above, on earth below, or in the waters beneath.

5:9 You must not worship or serve them, for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, responding to the transgression of fathers by dealing with children to the third and fourth generations of those who reject me,

5:10 but showing covenant faithfulness to the thousands who choose me and keep my commandments.
5:11 你們一定不可以把神主子你們的神之名用于無價值的意圖, 神主子將不會赦免任何濫用神之名的人.
5:11 You must not make use of the name of the LORD your God for worthless purposes, for the LORD will not exonerate anyone who abuses his name that way.
5:12 依神主子你們的神之命令, 小心定出安息日.
5:12 Be careful to set apart the Sabbath day just as the LORD your God has commanded.
5:13 你們要工作和在六日中做你們要做的全部事務,
5:13 You are to work and do all your tasks in six days,
5:14 但第七日是神主子你們的神的安息日. 在这一日, 你們一定不可以做任何工作, 你們, 你們的儿子, 你們的女儿, 你們的男仆, 你們的女婢, 你們的牛, 你們的驴, 你們的任何牲畜, 或外來與你們同住的人, 可使你們的男仆和女婢, 和你們一样, 都可休息.
5:14 but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD your God. On that day you must not do any work, you, your son, your daughter, your male slave, your female slave, your ox, your donkey, any other animal, or the foreigner who lives with you, so that your male and female slaves, like yourself, might have rest.
5:15 记住你們在埃及地被人奴役過, 和神主子用神能和力量把你們從那裡帶出; 因此, 神主子你們的神命令你們尊從休息日.
5:15 Recall that you were slaves in the land of Egypt and that the LORD brought you out of there by might and power; therefore, the LORD your God has commanded you to keep the Sabbath day.
5:16 依照神主子你們的神告知你們的去做, 尊重你們的父親和你們的母親, 使你們在我將給你們的土地上的日子可以长久和順利.
5:16 Honor your father and your mother just as the LORD your God has told you to do, so that your days may be extended and that it may go well with you in the land that he is about to give you.
5:17 你們一定不可以謀杀.
5:17 You must not murder.
5:18 你們一定不可以做通姦事.
5:18 You must not commit adultery.
5:19 你們一定不可以偷.
5:19 You must not steal.
5:20 你們一定不可以相應你的同僚提供假证.
5:20 You must not offer false testimony with respect to your fellow man.
5:21 你們一定不可以對其他男人的妻子有慾望, 不可渴求他的屋, 他的牧場, 他的男仆和女婢, 他的公牛, 他的驴, 或他的其他任何擁有物.
5:21 You must not desire another man’s wife, nor should you crave his house, his field, his male and female servants, his ox, his donkey, or anything else he owns.”
