“我家的恩公数不清”该怎么翻译？

刚才看见老加的新作：

【他唱的是”我家的恩公，数不清．没有大事，不登门．．．”
”In my home, the benefactress and benefactors
are countless.
They never come to visit unless they want to make a
big deal .... 】

我觉得那In my home似乎不对，如果我让我翻，似乎应该是：

“My family has got countless patrons and patroness
They come only when they want to make a big scene”

这当然不是准确翻译，“没有大事”给翻成了“大吵一场”，不过，那似乎也就是恩公们的大事，所以似乎也不是曲译。

如果要更生动些，可以改成：

“My family has got countless patrons and patroness
Whenever they come, they make big rows
demanding their money back”

How about that, slave?
