Golf Manor Village Councilman Fights For Pit Bull Ban

Councilman Charles Hughes is in a dogfight with the Golf Manor Village council over a proposed ban on pit bulls.

Hughes proposed an emergency ban on pit bulls back in May and tonight at 7:30 the council will finally vote.



If passed, Golf Manor residents will no longer be able to own a pit bull unless it was already properly registered with the village.



Hughes says if council does not pass the bill, he will run a petition for the issue to be put on the November ballot.
