You are absolutely right. Ever since I started writing for the BBS more than 3 years ago, there has not been a single day going by when I was not insulted. That's why I have become the number 1 warlord. Funny enough, some nice people see the result but not the cause, believing I am an unreasonable war-like monster.
Thanks for the two options you suggested. Of course I would choose the first one, that is, to ignore the noise completely. I have had too many fights and am really fed up. To tell you the truth, I believe that those who hate me are looking forward to my engagement in endless fights, as this would serve multiple purposes: first, I would have no time to write serious pieces, second, it would make readers fed up with such a bully.
So I am not going to pay any attention to those pests. Actually, owing to the martial law enforced by my wife, now I do not even have time to read the following comments of my posters. My wife is now put the telephone line under her tight control. All I can do at home is typing a short piece, then apply to her to get access to the telephone line and post it up. Once done, the computer is disconnected immediately.
So you see, the only free time I have now is my work hours, during which I may come and read English posters to kill time. And that is why my reply to your suggestion came so late. Sorry about that, but you must realize that my wife is the wind and I the grass (or weed, I am not quite sure) , one prevailing and the other bending.
Actually, I am grateful to the healthy wind, for it prevents me from wasting my time. Confucius says, "one would belittle the world once he reaches the summit of Mount Tai" (deng taishan er xiao tianxia). Having spent three years on the summit, I now realize that I was born to give, not to receive. So I would gain absolutely nothing by reading BBS articles. It gets me nowhere except making me a warlord and bully. As always, my wife is so damn right. Long live wives! In the future, I will only write, not read.
But I had to respond to Niu Lehou's challenge because I had been wrong with some facts. I had to admit it. I did not try to fight with him, nor did I try the impossible to reason with him. I just admitted my errors. Then I was done with him and will not exchange another word with him again.

Thanks for giving me the web site. I will certainly go there to have a look when I am free. Yeah, I do love that guy. He is great, isn't he? It's not always easy to see such a great comedian. Pity his show has ended.
