The similarities and differences between the horse and donkey (2)
芦笛
Of course, this is not to say Lao Ma's article does not contain a grain of truth or has no reason at all. After all, his tunnel vision allows him to see a tiny spot. But he was too thick to deal with even that tiny spot, so he inevitably fumbled it up.
It is even more astonishing if one considers a small fact that the main idea of his article was already in my article written more than three years ago, during my first debate with him. But he could not even repeat what I had taught him. In stead, he used some idiot's invention of "selection by phrases" to spoil everything. Once again, he reminds me of the monkey who cut off his own throat in mimicking a man's shaving.
Unlike Ma, I have repeatedly admitted to the public that my writing style has been heavily influenced by the commies, especially by Lu Xun. As a result, I tend to present my opinion in an imposing way, with an authority tone. Ma also has this problem (though he has never had the courage to admit it). This is a sound fact and there is no denial of it. Whether we use phrases like "no doubt" or not is a matter that only half-witted people would be concerned about.
But this similarity between us is just apparent. Yes, we both speak with authority, but what I have said is basically indisputable truth, based on sound historical facts, well-known phenomena and well-conducted reasoning. That is why I am generally hated, but so far not a single living soul has ever managed to tear up any piece of my works.
For example, I concluded that the Chinese is a stupid nation. To present this conclusion, I listed loads of incredibly blunders committed by the whole nation for the past century or even the past millennium. Also, I pointed out the defects and shortcomings of our social systems, from political, ideological to educational system, and held them responsible for the nationwide stupidity. Because my article is based on genuine facts and sound reasoning, I am intellectually entitled to present my conclusion with authority. You may not like it, but you cannot refute it. The only thing you can do is to swear at me. And that's exactly what has happened.
In short, I present common senses or embarrassing truths, which are beyond any doubt, with an emphasized and sometimes even authoritarian tone. If my conduct is wrong, it is only so in terms of tactics. That is to say, because my poor presentation style, some readers who might be persuaded turned against me and hated me as their personal foes.
What about Lao Ma? Well, he also presents his thoughts with authority, but very, very unfortunately, in many cases, what he presents is just stunning follies, nothing else.
So we both present our thoughts in an imposing way, but the contents are entirely different: I always present indisputable and unquestionable common senses, wherease he often presents laughable and enjoyable unique "antisenses".
