A few weeks ago, I wrote an article mentioning a historical fact that when Hitler was about to be appointed Vice-Chancellor by President Hindenburg, Ludendorf wrote to the president, his former boss, trying to dissuade him. He said that if Hindenburg made Hitler the Vice-Chancellor, Germany would plunge into abyss under his leadership. You read that article and questioned whether Ludendorf could write that kind of letter, given his status as a Nazi veteran. I could not tell you exactly from where I had read this episode, though I was quite sure it was not a trick my failing memory played on me. Later on, I searched the web. Very unfortunately, I failed to find that story. However, from his resume, one can easily find that he did break up with Hitler. Therefore, writing that kind of letter was quite plausible. I attach here some fragments of his resumes I found from the web. One of them was translated from German into English by computer, so it does not read very fluent. I am sorry I could not find more information for you and this is all I can present. My problem is that when I read books, I never foresaw one day I would quote them, so I did not take notes.

Marriage with Mathilde Spiess in Tutzing (Upper Bavaria). Together with its wife Ludendorff develops an active lecture activity.
1928
Break with the National Socialist German labour party (NSDAP).
1930
March: Establishment of the religious association "German people".
1933
22. September: "fir mountain federation" and "German people" are forbidden.
1937
March: Ludendorff receives the promise for the readmission of its religious combination, which calls itself now "federation for German God realization" from Hitler.
20 December: Erich Ludendorff dies in Tutzing.
