Flesh or soul?

I cannot help laughing to myself every now and then today as I recall Plus Slave's words. He says that he likes women showing off their bodies (preferably naked, I guess). He also expresses his desperate wish that the husbands and boyfriends of all women (probably under 30, or he will definitely run into trouble) be shot, so that his flesh, like those gentlemen who travelled to the Land of Females (nuu er guo) could be cut and chopped to make steamed pies (baozi).
Well, this is good enough for my never-to-be-obedient slave, but not good enough for me. True, I like to see women show off their beautiful bodies with or without clothes on, but my desire does not stop there. As every educated man knows, sooner or later you will get bored, fed up or even repelled if you keep looking at those obscene pictures delivered to your Hotmail letter box.
So what is the most attractive feature of a woman then? Obviously the answer varies with men. To me, it is the brain. To some extent, I am just like the surgeon that Steve Martin played in a movie who fell in love with a lady's brain kept in a glass jar. Actually, my slave has noticed this personal preference of mine and expressed strong opposition against it. According to him, he prefers plump blond girls who are simple or even a bit dull. I wouldn't be surprised since everyone knows of his passion for the backside. May God keep his teeth strong and healthy so that he will be able to use them most effectively until 90, amen.
Of course a brain alone is not enough. Otherwise why should one like or love an opposite sex? But a preference is a preference and you cannot just change it. It was born and developed with you. I believe I obtained this preference mainly because I was brought up in a family in which all the female members were much, much brighter than me. Anyway, for me, the brain comes first, followed by the soul and the body (not only the backside which cannot even smile, of course). Because unlike the case in men, you can hardly find an evil woman in everyday life, so the item of "soul" here can be crossed quite safely. Thus, the formula can be simplified as "brain before body".
Perhaps subconsciously, women know the importance of the brain, so it is quite often to see women showing off their brains. Very unfortunately, this is the most pathetic scene a man can possibly see. I like to see women show off their bodies, but I hate to see women show off their brains. Doing this actually implies that they feel rather unconfident in their brains. Worse still, while doing so, they always try to show off their great sense of humor as well. However, in most cases, they only manage to be sarcastic and vulgar. Then that would be the end of the story.
So perhaps Plus Slave is right. Better pretty than smart. If one has a pretty body (including both face and backside, of course), then there is no need to show off one's brain. If one is not pretty, showing off one's brain does not help at all. A really brilliant and therefore attractive brain is just like a diamond glistening in a dark corner. Only the lucky guy can find it.
PS
I saw someone next door had confused "Kaiser" with "Caesar". Actually, they are completely different. "Kaiser" is what the Germans called their kings in the old days whilst "Caesar" is the title the ancient Romans used to address their emperors. Mixing them up is just like confusing "Tsar" (Russian Emperors) with "Caesar". As far as I remember (rather vaguely though), the Caesar who said "vini, vidi, vici" ("I came. I saw. I conquered") was Claudius.
