harddisk! Damn it! Does that mean I will lose them again like last time?
3 years ago, my computer broke down, so I had to throw it away and buy this Dell to replace it. But at that time, I did not lose any files because I had had foresight to copy all the articles and stored them in the drive of my institute. But after I started to use the new computer, I stop storing files in my institute, as I thought they were pretty safe as the computer was quite new. So most of my writings since 2001 are stored in that damn computer, not in the drive of my institute. If I change the windows, I will lose everything! And there are my son's files in there, too.
God, the more advanced a tool, the less reliable. That's the tragedy of modernization.
