Don’t know the magnitude of the “hopeless” situation that you computer is in, just want to comment the ways for dealing with viruses.
“Spyvot”sounds like something dealing with spy wares. Don’t know it’s effectiveness for its intended purpose, but do know that software killing “spies” generally does not handle virus situations. Symantec AntiVirus (corporation edition) is by far the most robust stuff on the market. Pricy, but worth every penny it costs. If I want to save every dollar for retirement in my golden years like most people, I may decide to buy the less expensive ones on the shelf for now, but would not trust those free downloads from download.com and/or cnet.com.
Based on the information you provided, the company should be able to authenticate you as true ludi, the re-set up you account. Hope you can salve your computer. If not, the junk it. A top-notch new PC on shelf costs less than you thought...
