1. Did you make up Yang Zhu’s quotation by saying that he would not damage one single hair of the world for his interest?
2. Did you misapprehend Zhuang Zi’s thought by saying that he also advocated “ubiquitous love” (jian ai)?
3. Did you contradict yourself by saying at first that the ubiquitous love advocated by Mo Zi was followed only under emergency whilst Yang Zi’s selfish way of life was pursued under normal circumstances then making a U turn by arguing that Mo Zi’s way was practiced as the normal way of life whilst Yang Zi’s was used under emergency?
4. Do you agree that Ms Chai Ling has just done what you advocated, ie, “practicing general love” before the massacre then fleeing with each and every hair of hers intact while hundreds were gunned down. Therefore, she is your model student, isn’t she?
5. Please clarify, once and for all, which is “the principal way” (zheng) and which is “the accessory way” (ji). In other words, please tell us whether Mo’s way or Yang’s way should be practiced under normal circumstances.
Look what you have done: It was only an article of a few hundred words and yet you have made so many mistakes! So much so that I have to write thousands of words so as to correct them. For God’s sake, can you think straight, even only for once? Can you sort yourself out before speaking? Or am I asking too much because it is simply impossible for you to think clearly?
