“1999年3月8日，贺家夫妇到贝克夫妇家探访小贺梅，当时春女士也在场。贺绍强告诉春女士：贺太已经准备同意把小贺梅让人领养，只要领养者同意在贺太怀上第二个小孩之前，允许他们每周探望小贺梅即可。 贺绍强还告诉春女士：根据中国的迷信，因为难产，小贺梅并非一个理想的小孩。1999年3月30日，贺绍强又向春女士提到领养小贺梅的可能性：他对春女士说，贺太觉得把小贺梅交人领养并无不妥，但她想保留父母权，因为这样她就能继续留在美国。”）
On March 8, 1999, the Hes visited with AMH in the Bakers’ home with Ms. Chunn present.
