Also Lao Luo mentioned something that came to me this morning. When I woke up, I realized that I missed Manchuria which had been almost taken away by the Russians before the Russia-Japanese war broke about.

Had Japon not exitsted, maybe the northern part of China would have been part of USSR whilst the south under the influence of the West.
