human rights are those that are regarded as the rights should be enjoyed by memebers of a civilized society. There are basic bottomlines for human rights. If one breaks the bottomlines, then other civilized nations have the right to urge him to comply with the agreed criteria. China endorsed this point of view by signing the UN Charter. I don't see any problem with US critizing the human rights situation in China. It helps China to improve its protection of human rights
