many christian branches, say catholic, opposes such act, and jews of course, I am not very clear about islam's attitude about it. Buddism is ok about it, I believe, it believes reincarnation. Last Boston Legal's episode portrated a case: a doctor(pretty female) sedated her patients during Katrina aftermath. I don't know if it is based on true story, of course, Allan Shaw helped her out.
BTW, the best safe sex practice is condom, not contraception pills, especially for teenagers, they got too much casual ones.
