You really like to put words in other people's mouths, don't you? Regardless of motive, the European influence over Chinese was positive by far. Just look at the things around you. How many of these things won’t be there without the Europeans. The Boxers were basically a reaction to these things and hinged the progress of China by decades if not more. Those who are against progress should go and try to live the life style of the old imperial China.

You know you should get your act together instead of whining and complaining. The Japanese did. Why can’t you?
