I told Xiaoji "not A then not B" is equivalent to "B then A" on my first post. Then the problem is simply to translate it to Chinese language.
First of all, you have to write the original statement right. As I said, the original statement is 没有共产党就不会有新中国
and therefore I translate the equivalent to 有新中国是因为有共产党". How do you understand "是因为"? I suggest you understand it as "only if". This will solve your problem.
The so called Boolean algebra is a set with two binary operations "+" and "X" that are commutative, associative and each distributes over the other and the two binary operations have the property that a+a =a and aXa = a for every a.
If you think "+" means "union" and "X" means "intersection", the Boolean Algebra is simply the set of all subsets of a set with usual operations on subsets.
If you think "+" means "and" and "X" means "or" and if you translate "=" as "equivalent", you may apply it to logic. However, in Boolean Algebra, there is no "implies" notation. You only have "and" "or" "not" "eqivalent".
It was 芦笛 that suggested using Boolean Algebra, not me. 芦笛 using the name "Boolean Algebra" is simply trying to confuse people. He obviously does not understand the definition of Boolean Algebra.
