A couple of years ago, i exchanged emails with gobase.org founder Jan van der Steen and Guo Juan (9p). They are both based in Netherland. I _worship_ go games. I also have devised my own conjecture about the existence of a 'golden rule' (mathematical algebraic/combinatory completeness) if the game was played on a spherical surface constructed in such a way that every intersection all has 4 liberties evenly across the entire spherical board. But i never was a good player on the conventional 19x19 board. Following the links on gobase.org, you can locate a very rich literature that is timeless.
